In October of 2019, The Groundlings had their 45th anniversary, which featured a month-long celebration that included weekly live panels and two nights of live performances featuring former and current Groundlings. That, of course, includes Maggie Baird, a Groundlings alumna, and mother of singer-songwriter, Billie Eilish. Billie came to the first night’s show to support her mom, and I was given the opportunity to photograph the two of them backstage post-show for publicity. I ended up capturing a really sweet moment between mom and daughter that has been featured on Popsugar, JustJared, VegNews, and more.
