The Groundlings 45th Anniversary Logo

I was given the honor of designing the logo for The Groundlings’ 45th Anniversary in October of 2019. The Groundlings was founded in 1974 by Gary Austin, and has an abundance of notable and talented alumni that you’d probably recognize or have seen in various movies, television shows, video games, commercials, and more. 45 years is a pretty big milestone, and thus deserves a pretty big celebration. The anniversary was celebrated all month long through weekly live panels featuring various alumni and current Groundlings, and was topped off with two nights in a row of classic sketches from the alumni of years 1974-1999 and 2000-2019. The cast included, but was not limited to: Phil LaMarr, Mindy Sterling, Tracy Newman, Sandy Helberg, Maggie Baird, Jim Cashman, Stephanie Courtney, Nat Faxon, Will Forte, Cheryl Hines, and Jim Rash.
